Ciara's Dance Recital

Ciara had her dance recital last Sunday, June 19, and she did so well :-) She was singing and dancing the whole time...SO cute. She and her class did two dances, one ballet ('Somewhere out there') and one tap ('twinkle twinkle little star'). She didn't show one ounce of stage fright (unlike her mother!) and was so comfortable up there. I was so proud of her! I've attached a few pix and a link to a video from the rehearsal(she's the third one in from the right and waving at the end) The video is a bit shaky b/c I was holding Aisling in one arm and videoing with the other. Thought you might like to see my little princess :-)

I've also attached a few recent photos of Aisling. She is growing up so fast too! She is 7 months now and crawling around like a madwoman! I a
m a bit stressed right now as she is using her pincer grasp and picking up the tiniest things she finds on the floor! To my horror, I found her mouthing a beetle at my parents house yesterday. Wow do I have my hands full with these girls...Never a dull moment!!

I've finally created a blog for my girls!

I have been meaning to do this for month's now...years actually! Ciara is now 2 years and 9 months and Aisling just turned 7 months the other day. It is amazing how quickly they grow!

Ciara starts preschool in September and is SO excited about it. She is such a big girl now! She is very outgoing and confident and tends to be quite bossy. She loves her playgroups and art class. Her big dance recital (ballet/tap) is next Sunday and we are all looking foward to that. She is always singing and often makes up her own songs about things that happened during her day. She is a good big sister...That is, when she's not trying to roll over, hit or bite the baby - I was hoping this behavior would wear off by this point but I guess that was wishful thinking! I know she does love her baby sister, but is still getting used to sharing her throne...

Aisling has grown and changed so much. She is beginning to crawl already (yikes!) She gets up on all fours - in the 'downward facing dog' yoga position - and then throws herself forward and she also has a move where she hops like a frog. She is such a happy baby and is always smiling and babbling away. She loves to clap her hands, something big sister taught her to do about a month ago. She's also been eating solids for about a month now. When I am getting her meals ready, she yells out 'num'! as we call her solid food 'nums'. She is so bright eyed and inquisitive...A lot like her big sister :-) She has a very husky voice (like Auntie Rosie and Nana Brennan, my Mom's mom) and she still growls like a baby bear...She's been doing that since bir
th.

We are so blessed to have such good girls and I pray that they will always be happy and healthy!
